Fall in a college town is a busy time of year, and September in Bloomington at Indiana University is no exception. There are a variety of campus events going on throughout the month, including Freshman Family Weekend, which coincides with the weekend activities at Dark Carnival (9/19-9/21)

This creates a particularly challenging situation when it comes to accommodations - many hotels are tripling and even quadrupling their room rates that weekend. We are working hard to secure the least expensive rates we can for our guests however if you need a room, it is extremely important that you book early!

A large number of our guests will be coming from out of town this year - we have dozens of filmmakers and vendors alone - and we will do everything we can to make sure that everyone finds a place to stay at a reasonable rate.
