Dark Carnival is an annual festival featuring horror, fantasy, and sci-fi films from around the world, with multiple events at multiple venues. The festival typically features live bands and live performances, art exhibits, a vendor area, and film screenings. We’re working hard to become the foremost festival for genre indie films in the midwest.

We rely on the DARK ARMY to make this festival a success – we utilize volunteers in almost every area – from special events to sponsorships.

Volunteer opportunities include: Street Team, Vendor Assistance, Public Relations, Ushers, Publications/Writing,  Transportation, Graphic Design, etc.  Dark Carnival also provides student internship opportunities for course credit.
